Arborvitae
How much will an arborvitae grow in a year. I am thinking of planting 2 or 3 rather small ones for privacy. Thanks, Gail

The growth rate of arborvitae varies with the local conditions. It is considered to have a moderate growth rate. It can reach height of 20 to 40 feet. It's not wise to try to faster growth rate with fertilizer because such trees are often weak-wooded and floppy.
