Rose of Sharon

Asked April 29, 2020, 12:39 PM EDT

I planted a beautiful Rose of Sharon last August. It's about 3' tall. Last year it was loaded with blossoms.
When should it begin to show signs of life this spring?
I broke a twig an it was not wick at all.when do they begin to green in the spring? I'm afraid it's gone.
HELP PLEASE

Rose of Sharon needs warmer temps to leaf out than what we have had recently. I would keep a look out for signs of leafing out in late spring, after we have had some more consistent warmth. If it doesn’t leaf out by then, please reach out again and we can troubleshoot.
