Brown Recluse Spider

I found a Brown Recluse spider in my home. Positive ID from my book. Are they moving in from Mid-west?

Multnomah County Oregon

The most recent identification of a brown recluse spider (Loxosceles reclusa) in Oregon was in the 1930s. It's true that a recluse could potentially arrive in Oregon by hitching a ride on household goods but it wouldn't survive here it's too cold.

I haven't heard that brown recluse spiders are moving into the northwest.

I hope that you still have the spider, either dead or alive, so that we can verify its identification.
Even though seeing the spider in person would be the preferred method, several clear photos should suffice:
1. Top view: The entire spider alongside a coin to provide an indication of its size.
2. A close view of the face, including the eyes.
