Is this poison ivy or box elder?
This tree is growing in my backyard behind the garage. It's probably 20 ft tall now. I'm scared to cut it down if it's poison ivy shrub. Is this poison ivy or box elder? Thanks!

The young tree is a box elder. (Acer negunda) The leaves do resemble poison ivy, but poison ivy's compound leaves are placed alternately on the vine,
while box elder's compound leaves are opposite. Box elder is in the maple family.
