Elephant ear plants

Asked April 8, 2020, 10:20 PM EDT

My new plants have started to curl leaves and the stems are feeling mushy. I am a newbie at this and I don't know what I am doing wrong. I just recently started up the a/c at 75. Is that too cold for them? I love these little things, can anyone help me? They are indoors and get sun for about 4 or 5 hours a day. Any help would be gratefully accepted. Thank you.
