How do i get rid of ant infestation at the base of a tree. Flying ants and regular ants are swarming my yard near base of tree with infestation. I used soap and it worked, but they just moved over a few feet after a week or so.

Thank you for your question. Ants inhabit trees because they are feeding on the honeydew exuded by aphids, are carpenter ants, or are nesting in a hole in the tree where the tree has rotted. Without a photo of the tree and the ants, we cannot determine which you have. Could you please send more closeup, clear photos? Thanks!

The 1st photo is so you can see proximity to tree.2nd photo is of where ants are living. 3 feet from base of tree or so.

Thank you. Now we need a closeup photo of the insect(s).
