Yard to Prairie
I live in a small town in western MN (New London) and would like to convert my entire front yard to native prairie for all the ecological reasons, but also as an educational opportunity for the community (walker’s by & etc.). My question: is there grant opportunities for me to do this? Thanks, Dylan Erickson

Thank you for writing.
Some planting assistance is available. The publicized one is Lawns to Legumes: https://bwsr.state.mn.us/l2l?fbclid=IwAR1tYHiQ90-4pxpZwYL-XNq_-tV3iccTlwYvz7mMjNX61t9uPFdJ7IGzjcA
This is another program.

There is a special focus on the Rusty Patched Bumblebee.
