Bees in wood pile

We have tiny, ~3/8 inch. bees swarming around our stacked cut wood. Can you tell what are they? And what are they doing. They don’t seem to drill into wood.

You have leafcutter bees! Great pollinators. they are not harmful, so let them "bee"
