Ph controlled water for seedlings

Hello, I will like to know if we should use water that is pH controlled for seedlings? Thank you, Ron Broussard

Thank you for your question, Ron. What is your source of water? Municipal, well, rain, or bottled? The pH of most water is 7 (right in the middle of the pH scale). Of more importance in promoting plant health at the seedling (and houseplants) stage is what additives there are to the water. Municipal systems add chlorine, among others, to well, distilled and rain water are the safest for your seedlings.
