Grass invading garden beds

Asked March 28, 2020, 11:02 AM EDT

Hello, I need help finding a way to get rid of grasses that are growing in my raspberries, around my rhubarb and asparagus. The grass is coming in from my neighbor's yard. Is there a product that is safe to use around them? Currently just pulling it out by hand, but sometimes I get overwhelmed by it. Thank you for any advice you can give. Sincerely, Renee

I use a thick layer of mulch to exclude my neighbors Creeping Charlie. Works for grass too. Anything growing in mulch pulls out easily and is easy to see and eliminate before it gets a foothold. It is perfectly safe for raspberries and they appreciate the mulch because it holds water.
