winter tree cover

When should I remove burlap from our arborvitae trees? What do deer eat this time of year besides my arborvitae trees? is there enough grass to eat now?

Hi,
Thank you for writing.
The burlap can be removed anytime at this point. The danger of a hard frost or arctic winds is over. Water your plants.
Unless you live in or adjacent to a woods, the deer should be retreating about now. There are no guarantees on that.
