Hop Field

Asked March 19, 2020, 9:58 PM EDT

I have a hop field that was mothballed last year. It was fenced and 30 head of sheep grazed there along with two guard dogs. Because of the sheep manure and limited dog feces if this field was tilled could a new crop of something be grown at that location.

I do not know any field history as far as fertilizer of pesticides. If there were no sprays I see no reason this field cannot be used for growing crops. Manure is generally considered good for crop production. It would be good to start with a soil test. Let me know if you have any questions.
