What can i use to get rid of weeds with purple flowers in yard

Sounds like you are talking about purple henbit/deadnettle. This are cool season annuals that will disappear once temps stay above 70. The best thing you can do is mow them to keep them from going to seed. If you feel you must spray them then a broadleaf weed killer containing 2-4D will do the trick.
