Sticky Sap on Money Tree

Asked March 8, 2020, 4:26 PM EDT

I have sticky sap on my money tree. Everything points to some sort of bug but the problem is I don't see any. I've looked under the leaves, on the trunk and every other place I can think of. But no bugs. In fact the tree is nice and green and continuing to grow. What's the problem??

Please send us photos of the whole plant and the sticky sap on the foliage/trunk so we can see what you may be dealing with. Some tropical plants have glands that exude sap.
