Spring pruning, container blueberries and roses, DC Metro area

Asked March 5, 2020, 3:46 PM EST

Good afternoon, Can you tell me the best time to prune blueberries and roses (both in containers)? Both are 2 or more years old. Should I wait until late April when we are more likely past the last frost date? I do not want new growth to freeze and die. Or should I be pruning now? Thank you so much.

Prune the roses as soon as they start to show new growth.
