How do I got rid of moles in my yard. It has to be dog friendly as the moles and dogs share the backyard.

Moles are more of a nuisance in the spring and fall when soil moisture levels are higher and prey are closer to the surface of the soil. Moles usually move on when their food supply and habitat changes.

Tamp down raised tunnels with your foot whenever they appear and the ground is not soggy. In lawn, some reseeding may be required. For more information see page 2 of this publication on Nuisance Wildlife:

If moles are the culprit (as opposed to voles or other burrowing/digging animals), then trapping may be the only technique or last resort if the discouragement tactics don't work. Repellents often have only limited success and thus are not recommended.
