Our Girl Scout Troop would like to learn about animal care.

Asked January 27, 2020, 4:19 PM EST

Our Girl Scout Troop is learning about pet care. They are interested in caring for a pet, cost of care, training, and more. We generally meet in a location in West Linn, OR but would be happy to come to you there are any volunteers that might be interested? Our meeting is February 4th, 2020 at 2:30-4 PM (actual discussion can last between 30 minutes to an hour). Thank you! We are troop 10020.

Hi!
Thanks for your message. I would be happy to present at your Girl Scouts Troop on Feb 4th. I have a 4-H club meeting that night from 6-7 pm. I could go to West Linn if I could present from 2:30 to 3:30. Where should I meet you?

I'm an Animal Scientist and teach 4-H programs that educate young people on how to build strong bonds with their pet. I can bring a fun hands-on activity. I usually bring my therapy dog, Beau, when I teach events like this. We are an animal therapy team with Pet Partners. Would your kids be interested if I brought Beau too?

Best,

Kristen
