would like to establish a berry patch at my cabin on Leech Lake. Are there varieties of raspberries , red or black that you can recommend? Can I plant blueberries adjacent to the raspberries? If so, any recommended blueberry variety? Thanks

Raspberries prefer a soil pH of the pH in the range of 6.2 - 6.8. If you go to the section Choosing Raspberry plants in the following site you will find the varieties that grow best in Northern MN.

Blueberry plants require acidic soil ( pH 4.0 to 5.0) that is well-drained, loose and high in organic matter.
