Dairy allergy, ok to eat df yogurt?

With a milk allergy, yougert probiotics, even d.f. ones cause symptoms. Are there other options that provide good gut bacteria?

Hi there,
Non-dairy options for probiotics include foods like kimchi, miso, sauerkraut, fermented pickles, kombucha, and tempeh. Keep in mind foods like sourdough bread and shelf-stable pickles, kimchi, and sauerkraut do not contain live cultures since they have been processed under high heat. Always look for "live cultures" on the label and search the refrigerated section of the grocery store.
Thank you!
