Arborvitae Trees

Asked November 22, 2019, 10:47 AM EST

I have a row of arborvitae trees on my property that suddenly have some brown spots scattered here and there. Each tree has it. These spots just appeared suddenly in the last 2 months or so.Is there anything I can do to stop this or slow it down.

The browning of some of the foliage may be due to seasonal needle loss. Seasonal needle loss is normal for pines, spruces, firs, and arborvitae. See the website below for additional information.
