rain garden in District Heights, PG County

Asked November 14, 2019, 5:15 PM EST

I live in District Heights (PG County), and I'm interested in installing a rain garden on my property. I'm looking to find an expert who can guide me in exploring options. Also, I think I have invasive vines growing in the natural area in my back yard. Can someone pay a site visit to help me assess what is there?

We cannot refer to specific commerical companies. However, we have a great deal about rain gardens on our website: https://extension.umd.edu/watershed/rain-gardens
Click on "Learn more about rain gardens here".

This page also has great links for rain garden info: https://extension.umd.edu/hgic/topics/stormwater-water-rain-gardens

We do not make house calls, but you can take photos of your vines and we should be able to identify them for you. If not from the bark now, then when they produce leaves in the spring.
