Elm seed bugs (Utah)

Have a question if we used steam would that kill the elm seed bugs? At my wits end on trying to deal with these pests!

Yes, high heat like steam would kill elm seed bugs if applied directly to them. Not sure if this helps, but insecticidal soap (purchased from a garden center) would also be an option, again, applied directly to them. Vacuuming, and then emptying vacuum bin into a bowl of soapy water is another option.
