Are you asking if you can put apple and pear leaves into a compost pile for subsequent use after it is composted?

Yes or just put on garden area to till in.

Thank you for the clarification. You could do either, but of course the timing would need to be taken into consideration. Best time to till in plant debris would be in the fall so that the soil organisms can work on breaking it down over several months. If you compost the leaves into a mature finished compost, then you could use it closer to planting time.
