Trying to identify these berries
Along the river at Willamette Boat Launch in Portland, we came across these berries - which covered the ground, after becoming red vs. the orange/yellow when still on the tree. Do you know what they are?

Thank you for choosing Ask an Expert for help with identifying this local tree. It is the Arbutus unedo, also called a strawberry tree (for the look of the berries, I expect).
