Fir trees have dying branches

Asked October 21, 2019, 2:13 AM EDT

I recently had my 10 acres of timber professionally thinned out back in June. All of the trees are fir and they are about 30 years old. I just noticed last week that some of the trees have a few dead small branches hanging of the bigger mane limbs. I don't know if I should be conserend or not?

If the remaining trees are looking healthy, other than a few dead branches, I would not be too concerned. They may have been damaged when your trees were thinned earlier this year.
