soybean- edamame

Asked October 15, 2019, 10:35 AM EDT

I raised a bunch of edamame in my garden because it was too big rather than letting it grow to weeds. I let them grow till ripe and dry. I have been putting some in every loaf of bread that I make to increase the protein content. Do you have any suggestions on other ways that I could use them?

I am attaching some Extension publication listing suggestions for using edamame. Many times edamame is eaten when it is green but it can be used dried as well like you would any other dried bean.
