I have a 6 foot yucca tree.i would like the botany name and why it dose not bloom also is it winter hardy for Medina County Ohio? Thank you for your reply .

From the picture it looks like you may have a Yucca elephantipes. It is native to southern states, Mexico and Central America. It will be fine in zones 9-10 or until it has to experience periods below 40 degrees or a frost. Fortunately, you have it in a pot so it can be brought indoors. This particular plant does not often produce flowers, but if you keep it enough years you may enjoy lovely little white flowers.
