Best bulbs for acidic soil
Popular spring bulbs include anemone, allium, crocus, tulip, narcissus, and scilla.
Most bulbs need full sunshine, so select a planting site that will provide at least five to six hours of direct sunlight a day. Do not plant among the root systems of the pine trees. There will be competition for moisture and nutrients and there will be a lack of sunlight. Bulbs left in the ground year after year should have eight to 10 hours of daily sunlight for good flowering.

If you have deer, rabbit, and squirrel (like to dig) issues be sure to plant bulbs they do not like to eat. Deer and rabbit like to eat tulips. Here is a link for resistant bulbs https://www.vanengelen.com/tips_g.html
