Hi,
I did a quick research on dwarf cherry trees for zone 4 and 5, here in Colorado, and found an article from Harlequin Gardens about cherry trees that you might find helpful.
https://harlequinsgardens.com/cherry-trees-on-the-front-range/
They discuss several cherry trees for our zone, and give some sizes.
Also, coming up in a search, are Romeo and Juliet dwarf cherry - Prunus fruticosa, x prunus cerasus, which survives in our zone. You might contact your local nurseries to see what they offer.
I hope this helps.

Thank you so much for taking the time to give me this information. I found it very helpful in pointing me in the right direction. I now have a good idea of what to purchase. Your time in very much appreciated. David
