Hello, I have two anthuriums at home and I am wondering can I take them outside when it is 83 degrees Fahrenheit and humidity high. I live in zone five

Thank you for your question. Here is an Extension article about this plant: http://hort.ufl.edu/database/documents/pdf/shrub_fact_sheets/antanda.pdf You can see that they are hardy to zone 10b, whose average historical low temperatures are 35 to 40 (https://planthardiness.ars.usda.gov/PHZMWeb/). So, you can certainly take them outdoors (shade) when it is 83 degrees, but you risk losing them if the temperature drops overnight, and you have not brought them back in, since they are very cold-sensitive. Good luck!
