Please help ID this plant

Asked September 19, 2019, 7:54 PM EDT

I have this plant growing all over my yard. It has clusters of little white flowers. Can you help me identify it so I can decide whether to pull it up (if it is invasive) or let it stay. Thanks. Sorry the photos aren't the best, but hopefully they are good enough for an ID.

Hi - This looks like white snakeroot (Ageratina altissima). There are some nice, close-up photos on this page, which you can use for comparison. https://www.marylandbiodiversity.com/viewSpecies.php?species=4179

This is a native plant in our area. There is some information about it here, https://www.wildflower.org/plants/result.php?id_plant=AGAL5

If you like it, it is fine to keep it. If you don't want it, pull it up before it disperses seeds.
