move a dwarf cherry

Asked September 17, 2019, 3:13 PM EDT

I planted a carmine jewel cherry in 2012. It is 7 years old and 6' tall. It has tons of flowers yearly but never fruited even when netted after flowering. I need to move it to a different location. Can I move it now? also Is there anything I can do to get fruit?

Early spring (when the plants are still dormant) is the best time to transplant trees and shrubs.

Carmine Jewel is reportedly self-fruitful. It should develop fruit by itself. Nothing can be done to force it to develop fruit.
