What plant is this?

Is this broom weed? I moved here from Oklahoma and it looks similar but I'm not certain. I was hoping you would know.

Larimer County Colorado

Hi ! Thank you for the pictures. The common name for that plant is Rabbitbrush (Chrysothamnus sp.). There are at least 12 native species occurring in the west, with at least three species found here in Colorado, with the most common species found around here in northern Colorado being Chrysothamnus nauseosus, or gray rabbitbrush. Another (non-standard) name is rubber rabbitbrush. It is in the Asteraceae (Sunflower) family.
