Leaf spot on Boston ivy vine

I get a type of leaf spot on my Boston ivy vine in the spring and it continues to get worse through the season. What can I use to control it and when should it be applied?

Most likely this is Guignardia leaf spot, a common fungal disease of Virginia creeper and Boston ivy. This is usually a cosmetic disease and does not threaten your plant.
