Where and how do I test my soil and Japanese Maple for verticiliium wilt? And, are dogwoods susceptible to verticillium wilt?

At this time, we are not equipped to handle soil testing for the pathogen Verticillium. The Plant Clinic at Oregon State University runs tests. You will want to contact them for additional information. https://bpp.oregonstate.edu/plant-clinic. Dogwoods can be relatively resistant to verticillium wilt in our climate. That said, I have seen it on dogwood in King County.
