Snake ID

We have had four of these little snakes appear in the snake egg-rich compost heap we got from a horse farm. Can you ID them? Are they dangerous to people or poultry, which we have?

Hi - This is a young black rat snake. They are hatching at this time of year. They are not venomous. The adults may eat poultry chicks and a few eggs, but they do nothing like the damage you might get from a rat or a fox. https://extension.umd.edu/hgic/topics/snakes
