Asian Pear Jam
Do you have an Asian pear jam recipe? I know it has lower acidity than pear and apple so I'm scared to substitute it. Thank you,

What a good question. I could not find a recipe from a source that I was certain had tested it for pH and processing time to ensure safety. It is wise to be concerned. The best I can suggest is that you make jam as desired and refrigerate what you can eat up in a couple of weeks and freeze the remainder. There should not be any safety concerns with either refrigeration or freezing the product. The acid levels are only of concern in sealed jars.
