Lawn disease.

Please see the attached picture of my lawn. What kind of disease does it have, and how should I treat it? Also, how do I prevent it in the future? Thank you.

Hi - This fungal growth in your lawn is a sign of brown patch disease. Brown patch can be drastic, but it does not kill the crown or growing point of the grass plants.
