We have several spruce and fir that are dying at a job we did for Crown Eurocars in Dublin. While visiting the site I noticed two mature spruce that have leader die back as well. Not sure what's going on, but help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Mark Cromwell

There are multiple causes of dieback and needle browning and needle loss in conifers. The causes range from site conditions like compacted soil, poorly draining soil, lack of soil nutrients, drought, etc. to fungus and insects. Without more information about what you are seeing, it's difficult to make a diagnosis.
