Found this bug floating in our swimming pool (chlorinated) dead after being gone for nearly 2 weeks.

Washington County Oregon pine trees long-horned beetle

Thank you for the nice images which clearly detail the insect's size and details.

Thee insect is a long--horned beetle, the pine sawyer, which specializes in attacking stressed pine trees.

The beetle does not attack structures, people or pets. This one made the mistake on trying to land on water.

Right family (Cerambycidae), but wrong species. This is one of the Prionus beetles, see https://wiki.bugwood.org/HPIPM:Prionus_Longhorn_Beetles
