Star jasmine

Are star jasmine prone to attack by deer? Can they be sprayed with liquid fence like ammonia based products to protect them. Thanks.

Hello,
I did find star jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides) on several deer-resistant plant lists. Keep in mind however, that these lists aren't fool-proof and often a hungry deer will still munch on these plants even if they are placed on a such a list.

In terms of spraying plants with a deer repellent product, these can help with deer, however they can wash off with rain and need to be reapplied, etc. Please read the full instructions on the label for proper use.
