My tree

Asked August 18, 2019, 6:08 PM EDT

Can you tell me what kind of tree this is? It has loads of baby pink spring flowers. The fruit looks like cherry sized hard apples that turn soft and dried like red raisins in the fall. Birds love them.

Hi, This is some variety of crabapple, perhaps Cardinal. Here is a list of crab cultivars to help you narrow it down, if you’re interested: https://www.mortonarb.org/trees-plants/tree-plant-descriptions/crabapple-cultivars#destination
