What is this shrub
The plant in the photo is a mock orange. Although it adds interest to the landscape as most shrubs do, it's grown mostly for its fragrant flowers.
Seed pods have formed where the flowers were.
Thank you! Can the plant be split? Or, should I just plant some seeds?
You might be able to propagate the plant by removing root suckers or taking stem cuttings. Otherwise, if the shrub is well established, dividing it would be a strenuous job.
Propagating from seed is a long-term process and the offspring might differ from the parent plant.
