Grubs/Moles

Asked August 16, 2019, 8:07 AM EDT

I have battling grubs and moles all summer and I wanted to know what pesticide is good to use based on time of year. If I get rid of grubs will that get rid of moles?

If you get rid of grubs, that doesn't necessarily mean you will get rid of the moles. Moles also eat earthworms. If you have a grub problem in your lawn then it is good to treat for the grubs. Now is a good time to control grubs in your lawn. See link for info. https://www.turffiles.ncsu.edu/insects/white-grubs-in-turf/

I have also attached a link to an informative article on moles and voles that I wrote. If you can find the moles active tunnels, you can easily gain control of your mole problem.
