Bradford/Calery Pear
Hi, 99% sure I have the invasive pear tree along my shoreline. Thorns, blossoms, and brittle branches. I will be sending pictures. Problem is they are some thirty feet from the shoreline, where you are not allowed to remove any trees. Here on the Eastern Shore there are very strict regulations. Is it legal to remove the invasive pear tree near the shoreline? Thank you! Steveģ

Sounds like the trees are in the critical area and you do need permission to remove them. The following is the Talbot County government website,

This link is to the Maryland Dept of Natural Resources FaQ critical area list .
