Fig Leaf Damage - Part 2

On 3rd trip i was able to get some shots of nymps. Also, should have mentioned that each inspection i've seen a rust color moth but each time it quickly left.

The insects in these photos and the others that you shared are brown marmorated stink bugs, just at different life stages. They are not known to harm fig plants or fruit.

Figs are tough plants with few problems. We can't say what did the damage- it was likely just an injury, but recommend that you just prune it out.
Overwintering the plants is the biggest challenge.
