Invasive weed

This plant is all over our gardens. It can get a couple feet tall. It's hard to see in the picture, but there are small flowers along the stem which will produce seeds, I think.

Hi - This looks like mulberry weed (Fatoua villosa). It is an annual weed that spreads by seeds, so a key to managing it is to remove the plants before seed dispersal. You can dig out the plants and put them in the trash (not compost).
