Mystery Flower

Could you identify this flower for me? Taken in Autumn near Kinross in Michigan’s Uooer Peninsula. Chippewa County. I’d say it was approximately 5”across

That looks like an Indian Cucumber-Root, (Medeola virginiana),Lily family (Liliaceae)

This flower can have 3 to 6 flower petals displaying. It's really the leaves that have changed color and display the striking color with its berries shown in your photo. The berries were in fact the real flowering part. see the link above for a spring flowering image.
