Rose of Sharon tree .

I pruned the tree in the spring . The tree bloomed and flowers grew on all but one branch. Now the dude if the tree that I pruned has branched that had leaves and flowers but now are yellow and my liking good. I have very nice new growth coming up. I don’t know if these are dead or what. Help!

I'm not sure I fully understand your questions. It seems like some of the leaves are turning yellow. This is to be expected since we had less rain in early August and dry weather might cause some of the leaves to turn yellow and fall off. I would wait until next spring when the plant starts to leaf out again to do any pruning. That way you will know for sure if any of the bush has died and you can prune away the dead branches accordingly.
