dying trees

Asked August 3, 2019, 12:13 PM EDT

On emerald green arborvitae trees I had a tree to turn completely brown. I replace it and now it is starting to turn brown on the very edges in different areas on the same tree. Also the very next 2 trees are starting. to do the same They are all in a straight row, and their is a few other one starting to turn brown in spots only

There may be several reasons for dieback such as poor drainage, poor site conditions, poor planting techniques, insects, etc. We would like to have more information. How old are the trees, has there been any construction work nearby, etc.
Please send us photos of the site and the whole tree, around the base, and affected foliage.
